Trusteeship

NPC has produced several research reports discussing trusteeship. These reports look at current challenges faced by charity boards in the UK, highlight the characteristics of an effective trustee board, and suggest improvements which could strengthen trustee boards. We are also publishing a series of short briefings for trustees covering a variety of topics, which will be added to over the next few months.

Trusteeship events

NPC also holds regular series of seminars for charity trustees, in partnership with the Clothworkers' Company. The learnings from these seminars are incorporated into our reports. To find out about upcoming seminars, please visit the events section of our website.

We also offer bespoke training on trusteeship, popular with corporate clients who want to encourage their employees to get involved in charity governance. We run workshops for staff on what to think about when becoming a charity trustee - find out more here.

You can read more about trusteeship on NPC's blog.
