Improving the charity sector

Time and again we see the same issues holding charities back. We also see similar problems when it comes to promoting philanthropy. In this area of our research programme we don't only look to identify these barriers - we look to find solutions. We've examined a wide variety of topics, from the importance of strong trustee boards, to how to keep reporting burdens on charities in proportion, to what can be done to promote philanthropy in the UK.
