2. Choose focus areas and analyse need
Effective funders need to identify areas to support based on their business and charitable objectives. They should develop a detailed understanding of these focus areas through a needs analysis, enabling them to target funding where it is needed most.
NPC can help you identify focus areas and understand the need, helping you understand the size and nature of the issue, what other organisations are already doing to address it, and which areas would best use your support.

3. Identify and select effective charities
All funders want to make the most of their giving and fund charities that will use their money well.
NPC has developed a groundbreaking charity analysis framework which we use to assess the work of all kinds of charities. We can help you to select your own effective charities by training you to use this framework, or we can undertake due diligence on your behalf, looking at charities you are interested in.
