Consulting services for funders

NPC provides all sorts of funders with strategic advice and support to help them become more effective. Our consulting services ensure that funding is used as thoughtfully and strategically as possible, so that it creates the greatest impact possible.

Some donors don't have much time to spend on giving; others are employed to give away money. Some want to give a one-off gift; others want to develop a long-term giving plan. We have experience of working with all sorts of funders in all sorts of ways. Our services include designing funding programmes, analysing charities, designing and implementing monitoring processes, and evaluating results. We also provide a start-up service for those new to philanthropy.

We help four main groups of funders:

How can NPC help the charities you support?

  • Did you know that funders can commission NPC to analyse the charities they support, to help charities learn where they are performing well and where they could improve? Read more about our charity consulting service, read how charities have benefitted from NPC's analysis, see examples of NPC's charity analysis and read stories from funders who've used our consulting services.

  • NPC is undertaking a new programme to help charities in different sectors to prove the impact they have on people’s lives. A collaborative approach will enable charities working in a specific field (such as youth offending) to develop a shared framework for measuring their achievements. Our work in this area provides charities with support to measure their results, and helps funders work out how to create the greatest impact through their funding. Read more >

'Charities are more likely to do the right thing when donors are methodical. NPC is making it easier for them—for you—to do that.'
