Clare Yeowart

Senior Consultant

cyeowart@philanthropycapital.org

Clare's experience encompasses: researching and writing reports for funders, charities and government; analysing charities to help them review and improve their effectiveness; advising funders such as corporate and family foundations on how and where to give; and communicating NPC’s research to broader audiences through media articles and events.

Clare has authored or co-authored eight reports for NPC on a variety of social welfare and charity sector issues. She has particular specialisms in mental health and charity governance, and recently organised a series of seminars for charity trustees with The Clothworkers’ Company. She is also responsible for NPC’s public affairs work and wrote the Manifesto for social impact, which set out NPC’s position on policy relating to charities and philanthropy ahead of the 2010 general election.

Prior to joining NPC in 2006, Clare worked in corporate communications for Weber Shandwick, the international PR and public affairs agency, and as editorial and publishing assistant for a magazine.
